Veteran and Host of a Spanglish show called Stop The Madness Latino Show, on 96.9FM/1340AM "The Point" Hopewell, Virginia. Very passionate about Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. On the show I coordinate, schedule, promote, produce, and operate the studio sound board. When conducting interviews with Artist and Musicians, it's all about their experiences, their journey, and the impact towards their fans, audience, and followers. Interviewing Veterans is all about their Military experiences, their challenges during their transition from Military Life to Civilian Life. As producer of the show, I ensure all my interviews are conducted with positive vibes, that focuses on entertaining our listeners with our, Stop The Madness Episodes. An experience our guest has gone through in their career that has our audience laughing and entertained. I do believe interviewing guest should be conducted and broadcasted live, without prerecording interviews. It takes the excitement away our listeners enjoy. During my 28 years of Army Servies, I've had the honors and experience in Road Managing, Promoting, and Booking Artist. That experience together with my years in the Military has taught me the importance of taking care of people, how to motive an audience, and how to assess a situation, while developing a positive outcome. I strongly believe in the phrase below.
"Bringing Communities Together, Through Entertainment"
As a Radio Personality, this allows me to share with our listeners the sweet sounds of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue to include interviews with Artist and Musicians in the Latin Genre. We also schedule interviews with those that are behind the scenes in the music business. Sharing their experiences and knowledge with our audience. Tune-In to listen to their, "Stop The Madness Episodes".
One of the most important impacts on Stop The Madness Latino Show, are the interviews with Veterans. The concept of "What worked? & What didn't?" during a Veterans transitioning process from Military to Civilian life. This process can be simple, but most times are challenging for Veterans. Trying to adapt and fit into the Civilian work force is a stressful experience for our Men & Women who served our country.
